At Hempire Collective, we stand behind every piece of underwear and apparel we craft — sustainably grown hemp, responsibly made, elegant for your body and kind to the planet. 

If you aren’t completely comfortable with your purchase, we’re here to help. 

 

Returns 

30-Day Return Window 

You have 30 days from the date your parcel is delivered to request a return. 

After that window closes, unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or offer a refund or exchange. Eligibility for Returns 

To be eligible for a return: 

  • Your item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition you received it. 
  • It must still be in its original packaging, with all tags attached (including our hemp-heritage hang-tag). 
  • For underwear, the protective hygiene lining must remain intact and not removed. Items returned without the hygiene seal in place cannot be accepted for health and safety reasons. 
  • Bras are also eligible for return or exchange, provided they are unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached. 
  • As part of our sustainability promise, we ask you to consider only returning items if you genuinely cannot wear them — each return involves resources and processing, so please check sizing or style carefully before purchase. 

 

How to Initiate a Return 

Email our customer support team at support@hempirecollective.com (or via your preferred contact channel) with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and a short note explaining why. Our team will reply with step-by-step return instructions

 

Underwear & Hygiene Policy 

For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on opened underwear. This applies to all styles in our underwear collection, including: 

  • Hempress High Waist Hemp Underwear
  • Sativa Sunset 2-Strap Hemp G-String 
  • Kush High Rise Hemp G-String 

Once the protective lining or seal has been removed, these items are considered worn and cannot be resold or returned for hygiene and safety reasons. 

If you receive a faulty or defective item, please contact our customer support team immediately — we will always honour your rights under Australian Consumer Law and ensure the issue is resolved fairly. 

Note: Bras are not classified as underwear and can be returned or exchanged if they meet the conditions outlined in our Return Policy. 

 

Return Shipping & Sustainable Packaging 

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, especially for international returns. 
  • Please reuse the original packaging (provided with your order) where possible or use a comparable eco-friendly wrap, helping to minimise waste. 
  • Because we subsidise fair labour and sustainable materials, we cannot guarantee your return if the item is lost in transit without tracking. 

 

Refunds 

Processing Your Refund 

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll email you to notify you of approval or rejection of your refund (based on the Eligibility for Returns criteria). 

 

Refund Timeframe 

If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically credited to your original method of payment

Processing time may vary depending on your payment provider’s policies — typically within 5–10 business days.

 

Exchanges 

Defective or Damaged Items 

Because underwear is an intimate garment, we only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon receipt. 

If you believe your underwear or bra arrived in this condition, please contact our support team immediately with photos and your order number. 

We’ll assess and arrange a replacement of the same product style (subject to availability). 

 

Sustainability Note 

Our garments are crafted from premium hemp — a zero-waste crop, naturally moisture-wicking, breathable, and built for longevity

We encourage you to treat your returned items as gently as you would wear them; likewise, we urge thoughtful purchasing so returns are minimised.
